The 4th annual DigitalEd Conference was hosted by the Atlantic Technological University (ATU) and organised by the ATU N-TUTORR Project Team and ATU Teaching & Learning Centre.
The ATU 2024 DigitalEd Conference took place over two days on September 3rd and 4th with a theme of Digital Horizons: Navigating Transformation in Higher Education.
The sessions focussed on a variety of teaching and learning themes and included:
- Digital Transformation in Teaching & Learning
- Flexible and Online Learning Environments
- Artificial Intelligence in Third Level Teaching and Learning
- Student Empowerment and Engagement and Digital Pedagogy
We delighted to be joined by three keynote speakers.
Associate Professor Sue Beckingham (Associate Professor Learning and Teaching Sheffield Hallam University) spoke to us about Navigating Digital Transformation: Engaging Students through the VLE Hub and Spoke Model.
Professor Martin Weller (Professor of Educational Technology, Open University) shared his wisdom on Developing robust models of higher education.
Alena Roddick (Director of Learning Design and Solutions, Empire Online, State University of New York) recounted the details and lesson learned from Navigating the Digital Learning Environment Transition: Empire State University’s Journey from Moodle to Brightspace.
